<div>Narvik Car Rental A/S wants you as a user to be confident that we protect your privacy and process all personal data in accordance with the law.</div>
<h2>Personal data</h2>
<div>To use the online booking service, you must provide your name, address, telephone number and email. To register an order, information about the time of rental and what type of equipment is reserved/ordered must also be stored. There is an age limit of 18 years for using the service, and you must therefore also provide your year of birth. When using the service, your order history is stored. This personal data is used to deliver the service to you. This personal data is stored as long as you are registered as a user with us. The personal data we have registered is available and can be changed on your page, which you can find in the online booking service after logging in. You can also contact us and request that we remove your personal data or be deregistered from our systems. You will then no longer be able to use the service unless you register again.</div>
<h2>Personal information to third parties</h2>
<div>Narvik Car Rental A/S will not sell, exchange, or forward your personal information. Online booking is handled in a system provided by Sharefox AS.</div>
<h2>Payment information</h2>
<div>When you order, your card information is stored with the payment provider DIBS to safeguard your order. DIBS stores the information in a secure and responsible manner and is PCI-certified. This allows us to handle changes to orders, cancellations of reservations such as deposits, credits, additional costs incurred by the user (due to late submission, damage or similar), as well as reduce misuse and waste. Transaction information is stored related to your order, but not the card information. Transaction information will be stored as long as you are registered as a user of the service, cf. the section on personal information.</div>
<h2>Use of collected information</h2>
<div>The personal information collected for these purposes includes both information you provide yourself (name, email address, etc.) and information collected through use of the service, such as which equipment you rent and information about location and technical information about your device and internet connection. The personal information may be supplemented with available information from third-party actors.</div>
<h2>Cookies</h2>
<div>When you visit our service, we use various technologies to recognize you as a user and collect data. For example, we use cookies to remember rental dates and equipment. Cookies simplify the use of the service and to provide you with relevant information when you visit our website. <div>Narvik Car Rental AS, Stasjonsveien 1, Narvik, org nr 937 430 892 MVA, operates a rental service of passenger cars and vans in various sizes. We have a wide selection to meet your needs, both for short and long-term rental. We can arrange delivery to both Narvik Train Station, Narvik Bus Terminal and Evenes Airport.</div>
<h2>1 Generally</h2>
<div>These terms and conditions apply to the rental of passenger cars and vans at www.narvikcarrental.no to companies and consumers. The terms and conditions will, together with your order, constitute a comprehensive agreement for the purchase.</div>
<h2>2 Definition of parties</h2>
<div>The lessor is: Narvik Car Renal AS and is hereinafter referred to as we, us, the lessor or Narvik Car Rental.<br style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;" />The lessee is: The person stated as the lessee or buyer in the order, and is hereinafter referred to as the lessee, the customer, you, you, yours or yours.<br style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;" />Rental objects mean cars, vans and everything else that is rented out on narvikcarrental.no.<br style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;" />Delivery method/service points mean delivery or return of the car.</div>
<h2>3 Payment, deposit and prices</h2>
<div>Payment is made via Visa or Mastercard online via our payment intermediary DIBS, which meets the strictest security requirements. The renter pays when ordering and the rental agreement is then considered to have been entered into.<br style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;" />Narvik Car Rental A/S follows standard rental practice and also reserves a deposit amount as stated on the order receipt when ordering. The reservation protects the company if the customer returns the rental car late, damages the rental car or does not deliver at all. The size of the deposit varies with the selected car size that is rented, and is stated in your order confirmation. Narvik Car Rental A/S has the right to use the deposit to cover rent as well as other costs mentioned above and/or any recourse claims, cf. point 5 below.<br style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;" />All prices include VAT, unless otherwise specified. The total cost of the purchase will be stated before ordering and includes all expenses associated with the rental or purchase. If there have been errors with the prices of a significant size from Narvik Car Rental A/S's page on the website, we may unilaterally change, delete or reject the order even after the customer has received order confirmation or similar. However, such errors must be corrected and the customer informed within a reasonable time after the error is discovered. A daily rental includes 100 km per day. It is recommended to purchase addional packages of kilometers. Extra kilometers used beyond the included package are charged at 6 NOK per kilometer. If damage occours during the rental period, the deductiable is limited to NOK 10.000. We recommend taking photographs in advance of the rental period for your own documentation.</div>
<h2>4 Rental condition</h2>
<div>Narvik Car Rental A/S undertakes to deliver rental objects of high quality in operational condition. Narvik Car Rental A/S has its own routines that check and maintain the rental objects before and after rental.<br style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;" />During the rental period, you are responsible for all damage or loss to the equipment. Exemption from liability may occur if the damage or loss is due to technical errors or defects. The renter is therefore obliged to check the rental object before use and contact Narvik Car Rental A/S if the rental object is not in the expected condition.<br />
<h2>5 Damages</h2>
<h2><span style="font-size: 16px;">All damage, technical faults or accidents that may occur during the rental period must be reported to Narvik Car Rental A/S immediately. We will then do our best to help the renter. Damage must be reported to post@narvikcarrental.no immediately. This also applies to theft.</span></h2>
<div>If the damage occurs due to misuse, intent or negligence, Narvik Car Rental A/S may use the previously reserved deposit and, if necessary, deduct additional outstanding amounts to cover the costs associated with repair, service or replacement of the tool. This also applies if the equipment is returned in poor condition or is delivered dirty beyond normal.<br style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;" />We always strive to provide the best advice and tips for using the rental object, but are not responsible for performance or for direct or indirect damage or loss caused by the use of the rental object, delays or faults in the rental object.</div>
<h2>6 Terms of use</h2>

<p>Use of rental objects is at your own risk. The person using the rental car must be over 18 years of age.<br style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;" />The renter is responsible for ensuring that the car and equipment are used in such a way that they are not damaged or unreasonably worn. The renter is responsible for the correct and safe use of the rental car. It is the customer's responsibility to familiarize themselves with the Lessor's usage and information sheet before using the rental car.</p>

<h2>7 Accessories</h2>
<div>As a general rule, accessories must be rented separately when ordering a rental car and selected according to which car the renter has booked on the website. The website also describes what is included in the delivery of the rental object. In addition, safety equipment is required in a number of situations and is offered on the website, e.g. child seats.</div>
<h2>8 Tenants rights and obligations</h2>
<div>The renter must be 18 years of age and is obliged to provide correct customer details when booking with Narvik Car Rental A/S. Narvik Car Rental A/S sends messages to the specified email, address and telephone number and such messages are considered received and valid when sent by us.<br style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;" />Narvik Car Rental A/S has the right to freely reject, terminate or suspend the rental relationship without prior notice or liability, including if the terms are considered to be violated.<br style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;" />Furthermore, these rental terms must be accepted before booking on the website.<br style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;" />The renter must return the rental object before the agreed date and time expires and in the agreed delivery method. The renter is expected to stay updated about the service point's normal opening hours.<br style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;" />The renter or cardholder authorizes Narvik Car Rental A/S to make credit card instructions for, among other things, rental objects that are not returned, are dirty beyond normal or in the event of damage to the rental object. The authorization granted thereby also applies to the authorization to charge the payment card for additional rent/claims for compensation if the rental object is returned after the expiration of the agreed rental period or is returned with errors or defects.<br style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;" />Delay in returning the rental car beyond 1 - one - hour in relation to the agreed rental period, entitles the lessor to one day's additional rent and a supplement, currently NOK 500, - which covers additional expenses Narvik Car Rental A/S has in the event of late return. If the rental object is not returned after one day, Narvik Car Rental A/S is entitled to reimbursement of the agreed daily price as long as the rental vehicle is actually at the disposal of the lessee and has not been returned.</div>
<h2>9 Change of order</h2>
<div>To change an order, Narvik Car Rental A/S must be contacted. The changes will not be valid until they have been confirmed in writing by us. This is to ensure that the rental objects are actually available. Unless otherwise agreed and confirmed, the rental object must be returned at the agreed time. Extension of the rental period can be made before the start of the rental period and/or during the rental period by changing the rental start or end.<br style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;" />Changes and cancellations of rental objects that result in the availability of the rental objects for other users changing may be associated with a change fee to cover the costs of rebooking. The change fee is currently 400 kroner. All costs will be informed to the renter before placing an order or changing an order.</div>
<h2>10 Delivery and return</h2>
<div>Delivery and return take place in the manner, at the place and at the time stated on the order confirmation. We are responsible for the rental object until it is taken over by you, i.e. when you have received the products in your possession. In order to receive the rental object, you must have your booking reference. The name you state on the reservation must match the name on the ID card upon collection.<br style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;" />If the delivery of the rental objects is delayed, we will inform you as soon as we have knowledge of it, together with information about and, if applicable, when delivery can take place, or whether the rental object(s) is/are not available.<br style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;" />You are responsible for the rental object until it is returned to us or our service points.<br style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;" />We check the rental objects when they come into our disposal. Upon complete delivery in contractual condition, the reservation for the deposit on the payment card is deleted.</div>
<h2>11 Right of withdraval from purchase</h2>
<div>When ordering a car through our website, the right of withdrawal does not apply according to the Right of Withdrawal Act, &sect; letter m. This is because car rental is considered a service related to transport and leisure activities that is delivered at a specific time or within a specific period.</div>
<h2>12 Intellectual property rights</h2>
<div>The content and service are protected by the Copyright Act. Image material stored on the site has been obtained with permission from the copyright holders.</div>
<h2>13 Privacy</h2>

<p>Narvik Car Rental A/S processes your personal information in a secure data register in order to fulfill its obligations and safeguard its rights in accordance with the rental agreement. The personal information that is processed is name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and order history. This history will remain stored for accounting and other obligations. The renter has the right to have their personal information removed from the Lessor's systems, which is done by personally contacting Narvik Car Rental A/S.<br style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;" />Your payment card will be stored as long as you have an active order. The payment card is stored with our payment intermediary DIBS. They store the information in a safe and secure manner. Storing payment cards makes it even easier when you shop. Narvik Car Rental A/S does not store any credit card details itself.<br style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;" />Narvik Car Rental A/S uses cookies, like most other online stores. Cookies store data in your browser so that the website can recognize you from page to page and visit to visit. We can then recognize who you are so that you can, among other things, get the right prices and easier login. We also collect usage information to improve the quality of the service.<br style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;" />You can find more detailed information about our practices related to privacy by going to the help page submenu. There you will find privacy as a separate orientation. These terms are subject to and shall be interpreted in accordance with Norwegian law. The agreed venue is Oslo District Court.</p>
